We certainly appreciate your interest in The Grey Havens. Few sites in Maine can boast of a more beautiful setting for a wedding reception; and for those who seek the majestic simplicity of Maine, this is it.

At Grey Havens, we don't believe in "cookie-cutter" weddings. We work with couples to make their special day perfect for them, whether they envision a large reception or a small intimate affair with a few close family and friends. We can accommodate up to 135 guests for a wedding, and offer sit-down, buffet, and passed hors d'oeuvres as part of our dining options.

The inn has two large common rooms. Both have remarkable views of Sheepscot Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.

Our porch wraps the inn on the ocean side. Tables can be placed here, as well as in our dining room, for wedding guests. Our living room is a perfect area for passed hors d'oeuvres, with its amazing stone fireplace and incredibly large window overlooking the ocean. Our lawn is large and lush. There is a perfect spot here for a ceremony with the ocean as its backdrop.

Wedding weekends are always relaxed and families find that to be in the same place for two days is preferable to the driving and arranging of schedules which often places so much stress on the final days prior to a wedding celebration. Friends and family who have gathered from all over love being able to linger over breakfast, talk by the fire, or sit on the porch uninterrupted.
