Meet The Innkeepers

Hello from the innkeepers of the Grey Havens Inn, Ali & Carlos Barrionuevo, and our (somewhat) quiet partners), Chris & Larry! The four of us love travel, food, games, music, baseball, a good book, and…making people happy!

Ali and Carlos are Georgetown residents who love our little island community and who are dedicated to sharing our one-of-a-kind, magical place with visitors, both local and from away. Ali is the full time innkeeper and manager of our restaurant, BLUE. 

Ali’s transitioned from a career in big data software product management to run the inn and uses her event planning and culinary background to deliver great experiences to guests, including cooking you breakfast, making sure your stay is fantastic, and hosting (and sometime serving) in the restaurant. For couples, Ali serves as their liaison to a perfect day and acts as day-of coordinator for those who need this support.

Carlos is still in the corporate world, working at The Public Media Company, which provides consulting and strategic planning capabilities to nonprofit organizations around the country. He also serves on the board of the Maine Connectivity Authority and is a managing member of our local broadband company, Georgetown Broadband. Carlos helps out at the inn and serves as your restaurant host. 

Chris & Larry are our friends of more than 30 years; they fly in regularly to help at the inn when they are on vacation from their rewarding day jobs in data intelligence and banking, respectively. Chris is our head of maintenance and Larry wields a mean paintbrush.

We love what we do and we, along with our wonderful staff, are dedicated to ensuring that you have a delightful and memorable experience at the inn.
