Dishwasher

Join us for sudsy fun! We are seeking a dishwasher to join us for the season. Hours are 5:30 pm to about 10 pm Thursday – Sunday evenings in May and Wednesday – Sunday the remainder of the season.

As our dishwasher, you will be responsible for ensuring a steady supply of clean dishes, utensils, and kitchenware. Your primary duty will be washing dishes, utensils, pots & pans. You will also assist with maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen by cleaning appliances and emptying trash receptacles.

Responsibilities

• Wash, stack, sort, and store dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware
• Maintain a clean and organized dish area, free of clutter.
• Keep floors clean and dry throughout the shift.
• Assist in food preparation and other tasks as requested by the chef or managers.
• Follow sanitation and cleaning procedures diligently.
• Ensure dishwashers are functioning properly and report any issues
• Assist with closing duties as needed

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene
• Capability to place cases, pans, utensils, and plates on both low and high shelves
• Ability to stand or walk for the shift duration
• Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities
• Teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with kitchen staff

Benefits

• $18 per hour / free shift dinner

Experience

None required! Many individuals begin their careers in the restaurant industry as Dishwashers, making this position an excellent entry point for high school students and those looking to advance in the culinary field or just have some fun and make some dough!
