The Grey Havens Inn is open from May to October each year.

We are located on Georgetown Island on the MidCoast of Maine. Bath, Maine is the nearest urban center. The island is accessible by car and by boat.

Yes – we believe that starting the day with a delicious meal sets the stage for a fabulous day of Maine adventure. Coffee is available in the lobby when you wake up – no matter how early! Our delightful breakfast is presented buffet-style most days (some days we offer made-to-order items, too!) and features: our house-made granola, greek yogurt, lovely mixed fruit, hard-boiled eggs, the day’s pastry, a hot entree dish, bread & bagels, coffee, tea, and juice. Vegan and special diet accommodation available. We are available at breakfast (and at any time) to answer your questions and provide suggestions on fun things to see and do in Georgetown and throughout Maine!

BLUE is open in May from Thursday – Sunday and Wednesday – Sunday the rest of our season. Reservations are required to avoid disappointment but if you walk in we will try and help you out. Reservations are not needed for cocktails on the porch. Make a reservation at BLUE.

Check-in is from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. – if you’ll be later just let us know so we can accommodate you. Check-out is 11am. We will always try to accommodate requests for early check-in whenever possible.

While we welcome Service Animals, unfortunately pets, including emotional support animals, are not permitted at our inn. We are happy to recommend nearby kennels for use during your stay. If you are traveling with a pet, we recommend a nearby vacation rental home. You can check with Cottage Connections and AirBnB for options.

As a romantic inn offering a retreat from the everyday, our property is not appropriate for children under the age of 12. For weddings, children under 12 are permitted. We invite all of our guests to enjoy and respect our historic inn and the display of unique antiques throughout; Children under 17 should be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Stream your content to your heart’s content – we believe that being surrounded by beautiful nature in the country does not require sacrificing all the comforts of home. This feature also ensures that your board meeting or corporate retreat flows smoothly, irrespective of whether technology is involved.

The Grey Havens Inn does not have air conditioning. Our oceanside location ensures cool breezes and each room has a ceiling fan. Additional fans are available in the rare event of real warmth!

We are about 55 minutes from the closest commercial airport in Portland. There is an executive airport in nearby Brunswick, Maine as well.

Yes. To see the sights of Maine, you are going to need a car. If you are planning to stay on site and walk, there is train transportation to Brunswick and bus transportation to Bath – we can arrange to pick you up.

BLUE offers you delicious American cuisine in a fine dining setting at our inn. The menu features seafood, steaks, as well as vegetarian and vegan options. Our seafood chowder is widely recognized as being spectacular!

Before or after dinner (or both!), we welcome you to enjoy cocktails and the ocean view on our wrap-around porch. It’s a fantastic way to end a great day in Maine.
