Perched high on a bluff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, our historic inn retains an authentic sense of place and offers you today’s modern conveniences along with cozy charm. At our boutique bed & breakfast you’ll enjoy breathtaking ocean views from our wrap-around covered porch and many of the rooms throughout the inn.
Outdoor adventurers will enjoy kayaking or boating in the protected harbor, hiking the island’s public preserves, and fishing and clamming. Beautiful Reid State Park is just over a mile down the road. Bird lovers will appreciate watching bald eagles and osprey soar over head, loons and cormorants floating in the harbor, and a wide variety of songbirds visiting the property.
If you are just looking to relax, snag a rocking chair on the porch or sink into a couch in the salon and while away the day with a book or a game.
Breakfast is included with your stay and is a delightful way to start the day. For dinner, our restaurant, BLUE, evokes the rustic elegance and charm of historic, old Maine and offers fine dining and terrific cocktails to both locals and tourists

13 CHARMING ROOMS
A historic Maine waterfront hotel, Grey Havens Inn overlooks the North Atlantic coast and nearby islands. A beautiful open stairway in our hotel takes you up to the second or third floor to our guestrooms, all with private baths. The four turret rooms on the corners of the building are truly romantic with 270-degree panoramic ocean views. Our largest room, the Sunrise Suite, has its own private deck overlooking the ocean. Except for our Cottage room, all rooms have either full or partial views of the ocean, providing some of the best oceanfront lodging in Maine.
A Secluded & Romantic Wedding Venue
Getting married? Celebrate your wedding day at our Bed and Breakfast and waterfront wedding venue in Maine. Whether a large reception with 120 people or a small intimate affair, we work with couples to make their dreams a reality. The lawn is large and lush and perfect for that larger group with room for an outdoor ceremony, tented reception and of course, cocktail hour on the wrap around porch. The ocean makes a perfect backdrop for your special day.
Dining
BLUE, our restaurant, is the ultimate Maine oceanfront dining experience. Enjoy amazing views of the harbor and ocean while dining on fresh seafood, steak, and specialties from local farms. The bar is a great spot to enjoy a glass of wine or craft cocktail while enjoying the view. BLUE is open to both the public and guests staying at our Georgetown bed and breakfast.

Easily the best lodging we had on our Maine vacation. We stayed in one of the turret rooms overlooking the water. We dined in the on site restaurant, Blue, and savored a terrific meal with an excellent wine. Enjoying an extremely comfortable bed, we fell asleep to a gentle sea breeze. Waking up just in time for a spectacular sunrise was the perfect way to start the day. There is absolutely nothing like coffee on the front porch! Breakfast was a tad scanty but overall we had a terrific stay.

Over the years I migrated to the island every summer from Florida to get away from hot humidity and hurricanes. I would come to Grey Haven for dinners with friends. This is the first time that I actually stayed at the Inn. It was remarkable!! Going back in time, window open so I could hear the waves as I went to sleep.Dinner was outstandin, and the entrée I ordered, cod, was unlike anything fish dinner I've ever eaten before. Pure Bliss. It was a fantastic experience that I will repeat in the future. Staff and the owners provided superior service and care.

Always a peaceful, relaxing, memorable stay at the Grey Havens Inn! Carlos, Allie and Richard and staff are welcoming and just terrific!
The location is simply phenomenal, the food and drink cannot be beat.

One of the best inns we’ve ever stayed at. The proprietors and restaurant staff were friendly and very accommodating. The space is lovely and clean. We especially loved that they cleaned our room daily (rare these days!). And there are thoughtful touches like coffee and snacks available. The views are incredible. It’s also a gathering spot for locals because of the small onsite restaurant. Highly recommend getting a reservation to eat there. The food was excellent. There’s a small bar and about 14 tables in the restaurant and you can have your drinks on the expansive wrap around porch overlooking the water. Your stay also comes with continental breakfast; we had a Mexican egg bake, biscuits with strawberry compote, and blueberry French toast while we were there. Just a wonderful and lively inn with gorgeous views.
