How to Have the Best Christmas in Bath, ME

Have an Old Fashioned Christmas

Every December, downtown Bath reawakens with holiday spirit. Starting on the first weekend of December, this Christmas town celebrates with Christmas Caroling Fridays and Saturdays. In addition, many of the retail businesses and restaurants extend their hours. It is one of the most festive ways to complete your holiday shopping.

Remember to grab a blanket and enjoy a ride on the trolley, too! Trolley Caroling is a free event that is first come, first served. Stop by the ticket booth on Front Street and hop aboard! Old Fashioned Christmas takes place each Friday and Saturday night in December from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Celebrate at Bright Night Bath

For lovers of art and all-things-Christmas, you don’t want to miss Bright Night Bath! On this special night, downtown Bath glows with vibrant lights and elegant decor. Stop by Waterfront Park and admire the light display, and be sure to check out the window displays in your favorite downtown shops. The 2018 event is Friday, December 14 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
