Every December, downtown Bath reawakens with holiday spirit. Starting on the first weekend of December, many of the retail businesses and restaurants extend their hours. Come greet Santa and enjoy caroling with the Nor’easters Barbershop Chorus, cookies, and the lighting of the community tree.

Trolley Carroling!

December 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 2022  |  4:00 PM – 8:30

Remember to grab a blanket and enjoy a ride on the trolley, too! Trolley Caroling is a free event that is first come, first served. Stop by the ticket booth on Front Street to secure your seat and hop aboard! 

Bright Night Bath

December 9, 2022  |  5 to 8 PM, Bath Maine

For lovers of art and all-things-Christmas, you don’t want to miss Bright Night Bath! On this special night, downtown Bath glows with vibrant lights and elegant decor. Bands will be located around town to provide music, costumed characters will roam town, and Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand at Brackett’s and strolling the town. Stop by Waterfront Park and admire the light display, and be sure to check out the window displays in your favorite downtown shops, which will be open late.

Santa’s ATV parade starts downtown then heads out to local senior centers. There will be ponies!

For decades, family and friends have gathered at the Chocolate Church Arts Center on the last Monday before Christmas to sing and celebrate the season.

Chocolate Church will be hosting our annual community sing-a-long again this year, Sing! It’s Christmas. This event brings our wonderful community together to celebrate the holidays and make cherished memories! This is free to the public so bring your family and friends!
